Position Description Summary:

Provide bag, golf cart and range services to members and guests. Providing top notch services to our members and guest by giving them the experience they deserve every time they participate in a golf outing. Treat our golf guest and member as if they are the only person on the course. Clean their clubs, maintain their equipment, know their names, show respect and make sure their needs are met. Always provide a friendly courteous atmosphere. Must 16 years older.

Responsibilities, Essential Functions, Relationships and Operational Expectation:

  • Brings golf carts from cart shelter to cart staging area outside Golf Pro Shop; checks golf carts for tire pressure, brake operation and other safety considerations.
  • Loads bags from bag storage room onto golf carts.
  • Transports range balls to each end of range and fills appropriate containers.
  • Places baskets of balls at evenly spaced intervals on range.
  • Operates tractor and ball picker on range to retrieve balls.
  • Washes all range balls daily.
  • Removes bags from golf carts and returns bags to assigned rack in bag storage room.
  • Returns golf carts to cart shelter; removes towels, pencils, score carts, tees, drink cans, etc., from golf carts and saves reusable items; checks carts for damage; washes golf cart with pressure cleaner; parks cart in shelter and connects charger cable.
  • Advises Pro Shop of clubs found on the course and destined for the lost and found.
  • Cleans all clubs for members and guests; cleans and maintains the club’s rental equipment.
  • Maintains cleanliness of and order in Bag Storage Room.
  • Attends staff meetings.
  • Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Assistant Golf Professional

Job Requirements or Work Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable about the game of golf and its rules.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
  • Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
  • Frequent repetitive motions.
  • Continuous standing and walking.

All measures will be taken to adhere to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration of the United States Department of Labor. All Oklahoma rules are the same regulations followed by Federal OSHA.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
