Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to interact with our members and ensure they have a great experience while dining in the Ladies Grill. Restaurant servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving each member in a personalized and efficient manner. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our members needs and make them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. Servers are expected to be knowledgeable about the menu variety as well as the club and surrounding areas. As servers in the Ladies Grill thrive to follow the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club standards. All tasks are to be completed in a friendly, professional and timely manner.


Responsibilities, Essential Functions, Relationships and Operational Expectation:


  • Take food and drink orders from members accurately with a positive attitude.
  • Write down a member’s food order and enter accurately into the POS system.
  • Be knowledgably of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions
  • Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
  • Provide a friendly and caring experience for every guest that comes in to the Ladies Grill, upholding the Ladies Grill’s hospitality standards.
  • Prepare the member’s check and present the check as form of payment.


Reporting Structure and Exempt Hours:


  • Reports Directly to: Sous Chef        
  • Directly Supervises:  N/A
  • Full-time position that works 30-40 hours per week on average. These hours may increase or decrease at times to accommodate business fluctuations, no specified days are detailed.
  • Considered to be qualified for Full-time benefits.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends.



Job Requirements or Work Experience:


  • Maintain a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other club staff.
  • Attention to cleanliness and safety
  • Stay updated on menu changes
  • Serve orders by picking up and delivering member’s food from the kitchen to the Ladies Grill.
  • Strong customer service skills are required

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for full length of shift and for consecutive work days (excluding breaks).  

Must be able to lift, push or pull twenty five (25) pounds.

Will be expected to work on a level floor 80% of the time with the exception of certain events or during the preparation of events and will be expected to work 20% of the time with the use of stairs/steps, some unleveled terrain and obstacles on floor causing an obstruction to level walking.
